Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor effective strategies for the recovery of outstanding receivables.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients and tenants regarding overdue payments through correspondence, calls, and meetings.
  • Maintain and update accurate records of all recovery activities, communications, and payment plans.
  • Prepare periodic reports on the status of receivables and recovery efforts for senior management.
  • Negotiate settlement agreements and payment schedules with defaulters in accordance with company policy.
  • Coordinate with the legal department for initiating legal proceedings in cases of persistent default.
  • Ensure all recovery processes comply with legal regulations and internal company policies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in debt recovery, credit control, or a similar role, preferably within a corporate or public sector environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, credit policies, and recovery procedures.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel, and familiarity with financial software.
  • Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working under pressure to meet targets.
